This is a great opportunity to see the Lions’ first match on tour and enjoy pre-match drinks before the short walk to the stadium. After the game enjoy the buzzing Hong Kong night life.

Day at leisure to explore Hong Kong. Take a trip up Victoria Peak on the cable car, travel on the Star Ferry over to Kowloon or take the bus to Aberdeen Harbour. There is plenty to do in Hong Kong before you even think about the shopping!
Mon 3rd June – Perth
After breakfast and a leisurely morning you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Perth. Transfer to the Four Points by Sheraton for the next four nights.
Tues 4th June – Perth
Day at leisure to enjoy the lovely surrounds of Perth. A vibrant and cosmopolitan city yet with a feel of spaciousness and a laid back lifestyle. The Swan River meanders down to the bustling seaport of Freemantle whose historic architecture and museums are a window into Western Australia’s heritage. The beaches lining Perth’s Indian Ocean shoreline, meanwhile, make for an altogether ‘free and easy’ Australian city experience.

Two days at leisure in Brisbane. Australia’s 3rd largest city boasts a near-perfect climate and all the benefits of a modern, cosmopolitan lifestyle. Brisbane has renewed itself in recent years, and you’ll find both man-made beaches and gleaming glass skyscrapers along the banks of the gently-meandering Brisbane River.
Tues 11th June – Newcastle
After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Newcastle.
Transfer to the Ibis Hotel for the next two nights. Once you have checked in and settled in you will be transferred to the match in plenty of time for kick-off.

After the match you will be transferred back to the Ibis.
Wed 12th June – Newcastle
Day at leisure to explore Newcastle or optional Hunter Valley Wine Tour.
Newcastle is situated 162 kilometres NNE of Sydney and is at the mouth of the Hunter River and is one of Australia’s busiest ports. An excellent vantage point to view the action is to walk along the foreshore promenade and to Foreshore Park.
Revisit Newcastle’s convict past with a visit to the convict-hewn Bogey Hole. Located beneath a rocky prominence, the Bogey Hole gets battered during heavy seas.

Transfer to Sydney.
On arrival in to Sydney you will check in to the Menzies Hotel for the next four nights.

The day is at leisure to explore.
Sydney is truly a world class city in every sense of the phrase, and its picturesque harbour setting has few rivals. The iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge are the most spectacular sites that stand out on Sydney’s harbour but you will also discover unparalleled dining, nightlife, shopping and sightseeing opportunities.

For today’s match you will make your own way to and from Moore Park. Due to the multiple public transport options this is the quickest and easiest route to the stadium.

After breakfast this morning you will be picked up and transferred to Canberra. The journey is approximately 4 hours but you will stop on route in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral. Bowral is known for its boutiques, antique stores and gourmet restaurants. It is also home to the Bradman museum which is dedicated to the achievements of cricketer Sir Donald Bradman. On arrival this afternoon you will check in to the Mercure Hotel for three nights.

You will be transferred to Canberra Stadium in plenty of time for the match and transferred back again after the game.

Canberra is the capital city of Australia. With a population of 358,000 it is Australia’s largest inland city and the 8th largest city overall. Canberra is its own state, Australian Capital Territory. (ACT). The ACT, like Washington D.C, is independent of any state to prevent any one state from gaining an advantage by hosting the seat of Federal power. The site of Canberra was selected for the location as a compromise between rivals Sydney and Melbourne, Australia’s two largest cities.
Thurs 20th June – Gold Coast
Transfer to the airport for your early morning flight to Brisbane. On arrival in to Brisbane you will meet up with the Endeavour IV tour and transfer to the Mantra Sun City in Surfers Paradise for five nights.
Welcome drinks this evening where you will meet up with all the other Endeavour IV guests.

Buses will drive the group into Brisbane in plenty of time to attend our afternoon pre-match parties, just walking distance from the stadium. Buses will return to Surfers Paradise an hour after the end of the match.

Midweek Game v Melbourne Rebels, Melbourne
After checking out of the hotel, you will be taken to the airport for flights to Melbourne in time for the midweek match this evening. Check in to the Mercure Spring St for a 6 nights stay. Pre-match drinks will be served in the hotel before the group will make the short journey, by tram or foot, to the stadium for this evening’s match.
Wed 26th and Thurs 27th June – Melbourne
The chance to explore the culturally vibrant city of Melbourne, or take excursions into the surrounding areas. The tennis centre and MCG are popular, as is trendy Church Street, or drive out to the Mornington Peninsula to test its new found fame in world wine.

The other groups will join you from Cairns today as the excitement builds for the second test tomorrow.

2nd Test Match – Melbourne
After breakfast in your hotel, there is time to look around Melbourne ahead of the second test later in the day. Today’s pre-match party will be held at a central Melbourne hotel in the afternoon, leaving a short walk to the
stadium for the game.

Perhaps with the series in the bag, today could be spent further exploring and taking the tram out to St Kilda for Sunday lunch.
Mon 1st July – Melbourne to Sydney
After checkout coaches will take you back to Melbourne Airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival you will be escorted to the Menzies Hotel in central Sydney for your seven night stay.

First full day in Sydney to explore, perhaps take a harbour cruise, walk over the Harbour Bridge or see our Excursions list for further ideas.

In the evening you are invited to attend the Living With The Lions Gala Dinner at the Kirribilli Club. This promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment with our celebrity hosts and guest speakers. Coaches will transfer you to the club in good time for the start.
Fri 5th July – Sydney
Further time to explore this exciting city, or perhaps get out and see the Blue Mountains or taste wine in the Hunter Valley.
Sat 6th July – 3rd Test
3rd Test Match – Sydney
Its going to be a tense day, the last two tours to Australia have both gone to nail-biting finales. To calm your nerves we have arranged to travel to the final test by boat departing from Circular Quay around 3pm and cruising up river to Homebush in plenty of time for the big game. After the match buses will return you to Sydney so you can continue the celebrations.
Sun 7th July – Sydney
Take the ferry to Manly or the bus to Bondi for a day of recovery. Follow this with (hopefully) celebrations at one of the city’s wonderful choice of restaurants.

Choosing Your Tour:
Call us on 020 7223 6650 OR email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you with further information, hold your tour place and take your deposit. Once you are happy with your tour we will email you our reservation forms for you to complete and return. Please note that you are not 100% confirmed on our tours until we have received your deposit.
Deposit – We will require a £1500 per person deposit on booking.
Interim payment – A further £1500 per person will be due on or before the 1st November 2012. Bookings made after the 1st November 2012 will require payment of deposit and interim payment – £3000 per person.
Final payment – The final balance will be due on or before the 1st April 2013.
